Objective
The student is able to apply various podiatric evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation methods in a client-centric manner and works independently and responsibly. The student manages the different stages of the podiatric process and executes them independently. The student strengthens the student’s own professional interaction skills, evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation competencies as well as the student’s own knowledge base.
The student is able to plan podiatric care that promotes the client’s function and functional capacity in different environments based on multidisciplinary collaboration and together with the client. The student is able to apply evidence-based podiatry in different situations and knows the special aspects of various lower extremity dysfunctions and illnesses. The student is able to guide a clinical practical of students in the early stages of their studies and manages the principle of peer tutoring as well as student instruction in working life. The student improves in career planning and is able to create personal Curriculum Vitae.
