Objective

The student are familiar with their physical and social study environment in the Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. The Student knows the key guidelines, rules and study practices of the conservation degree program. The student will meet the requirements to start studies in the degree program.
The student will know the history and the development of his/hers field of study.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The student understands the basic theme and idea of the course and has adequate learning skills for studies. The student understands the importance of the course for his/her study progress. The student understands the role of a conservator as a specialist in the field of cultural heritage.
