Objective
Students
- are able to work in accordance with good occupational health care practices as members of multiprofessional work groups
- follow the ethical guidelines, principles and recommendations of nursing and public health nursing in cooperation companies
- can implement a workplace survey by identifying health promotive factors and factors threatening health as well as evaluate their significance to the workplace environment and employees in cooperation with occupational health professionals, experts and workplace actors
- know how to plan, implement and evaluate working age person/employee’s health, functional capacity, work ability and suitability for his/her work tasks
- are able to work as members of the multiprofessional occupational health care team
- can identify development needs of public health nursing
- are able to evaluate their competence and develop it further

- the clinical practice of occupational health care is implemented in the operating environment of occupational health service producers and in health care units for the unemployed
- public health nurses’ job description in occupational health care
