The students
*are familiar with the key legislation related to quality management
*understand the key concepts related to quality management
*understand the importance of quality management for patient safety
*understand the importance and principles of self-assessment and clinical auditing
*are able to implement and analyse functional and technical quality assurance
*know the principles of radiation protection in X-ray rooms
*understand the role of the radiographer in the quality management process
*are able to communicate as an expert in various research and development work
*are familiar with the fundamentals of scientific writing

Legislation and key concepts related healthcare quality
Radiography quality management process within healthcare
Functional and technical quality assurance
Various quality management systems and tests
Radiation premises and radiation protection
Expert communication
Practical training at the UAS 3 ECTS

Qualifications

Prerequisite studies:
Clinical practice in plain imaging examinations 10 ECTS
Patient in computer tomography and magnetic resonance imaging examinations 10 ECTS
