Objective

The students
- recognise and respond systematically to emergencies
- examines the patient's vitals using the ABCDE method and provides symptomatic first aid
- identify the commonest seizures and need for help.
- know how to act in emergencies and accidents and start resuscitating
- learn ergonomic working methods as part of their professional
skills
- understand the basic etiology of illnesses at the cellular level, and cellular changes associated with them
- understand the principles of healing at cellular level
- are familiar with drug treatment principles required of radiographers
- understand the basis of professional activity in drug treatment
- are familiar with the different steps of the drug treatment process
- recognise different methods of administering drugs
- learn about public authority communication in health care

Pathophysiology
Emergency first aid
Public authority communication in health care
Ergonomic working, transferring patients safely
Monitoring and assistance of respiration and circulation
Drug treatment basics and different drug administration methods
Practical training at the UAS 2 ECTS
