Objective

The student knows the research methods and understand how the research problem, research strategies and data and analysis methods are interrelated. Students are able to identify and describe collecing and analysis methods of conservation research. The student can choose, apply and evaluate the issues addressed in the methods by and abide by the the ethical principles of the research.

Students
• Understand the key principles of research-based development, and are able to apply at least one development method
• Are able to build an information base for their development project and to write a thesis
• Are able to identify key partners for their development work

• Identify development areas in their field, and are able to choose the suitable development methods for their thesis.
• Understand how to produce a new research base procedure, product or service
• the information generated during the process is reported well.

Students
• Identify key development areas in their field, and are able to execute and assess their research-based development work
• Are able to produce a new research, procedure, product or service which offers actual benefits
• Are able to clearly report the information produced in the project, in accordance with the rules of scientific writing
