Architectural competitionLaajuus (5 cr)

Objective

On completion of the course, the student will have taken part in a domestic or international architectural design competition.
The student will be able to design an architecturally high-quality proposal according to the regulations of the competition. The student will be able to draw up professional illustrative drawings for the competition. The student will be able to draw up a working schedule for his/her proposal and to submit the proposal on schedule. The student will be able to evaluate his/her own work and to take the feedback into account.

The idea of the course is learning by doing practical work. The student has the role of an investigative learner.
Evaluation is: approved / failed
Participation in class lessons and returning the assignments on schedule are part of the grounds of the evaluation.
