Objective

Installing and Configuring Windows Server
After the course student has ability to install and maintain Windows Server in a typical enterprise environment.

Administering Windows Server
After the course student has ability to install and maintain Windows Server in a typical enterprise environment. In addition to "Installing and Configuring Windows Server" course, this course gives student skills especially in Windows Server' network services, access management and Network Policy Server (NPS). There is also more in depth coverage about active directory and group policy management.

Configuring Advanced Windows Server
After the course student has ability to install and maintain Windows Server in a typical enterprise environment. In addition to "Installing and Configuring Windows Server" and "Administering Windows Server" courses, this course gives student skills especially in Windows Server' File Storage, Identity Management and High Availability solutions and services.

Installing and Configuring Windows Server
Windows Server basic settings, roles and features, Hyper-V, core services, active directory, group policy

Administering Windows Server
- File and Printing Services, Network Services and Network Management, Access management, Network Policy Server

Configuring Advanced Windows Server
- High Availability, Identity Management, File Storage Services

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Installing and Configuring Windows Server
The student has ability in practise and theory:
- install and configure windows server and its services relying help from a colleague
- maintain and manage active directory relying help from a colleague

Administering Windows Server
The student has ability in practise and theory:
- install and configure Windows Server' Access Management and Network Services help from a colleague
- adequately maintain and deploy active directory and maintain group policies in a typical enterprise environment help from a colleague
- configure and maintain Network Access Protection (NAP) help from a colleague

Configuring Advanced Windows Server
The student has ability in practise and theory:
- install and configure high availabity in Windows Server relying help from a colleague
- maintain file storage services relying help from a colleague
- install and maintain identity management relying help from a colleague

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Installing and Configuring Windows Server
The student has ability in practise and theory:
- install and configure windows server and its services independently
- maintain and manage active directory independently

Administering Windows Server
The student has ability in practise and theory:
- maintain and configure Windows Server' access management and network services independently
- maintain Network Access Protection independently

Configuring Advanced Windows Server
The student has ability in practise and theory:
- independently configure and maintain high availability, identity management and file storage services using Windows Server
