Objective
Students
- know the phases of an innovative process and how the process can be improved.
- comprehend the problem-solving and interaction skills needed in working life and their role in development of working life and innovative processes.

Content
Innovation studies focus on innovation and working life skills and construction of professional identity. They are carried out in the form of business hatcheries, where students mainly work in small teams lead by a coach. The teams select a business type, and learn the operating principles of this particular business through role play. Students generate the products and relevant marketing for the business collaboratively. They compose the contents of the website of their mock business, utilizing the Career E-Portfolio they have created during their studies.
The project taps on the skills and knowledge acquire in previous studies. Students apply their professional competence in new areas of operation and work in a multi-professional environment in collaboration with employees.
Students also study the theory and practice of interaction skills and aspects of group dynamics inherent in working life and innovation generation.
The fundamentals of project and innovation work:
generation of ideas, planning, execution, evaluation, communication, relase? , productization and marketing, collaboration skills, interest group, social media and network activities. Innovative working methods.
Areas of communal development skills:
development processes, development coordination and management, renewal of development models.
