Objective

Accompaniment Training 1-2:

The student has some knowledge of the repertoire of diverse instruments. The student is able to rehearse a work with the soloist in a functional and effective way and is capable of flexible musical interaction in rehearsal and performance situations.

Content

Accompaniment Training 1-2:

- accompanying various melody instruments, where the difficulty of the works may range from pedagogical to concert repertoire
- practising, rehearsing and performing the rehearsed works
- written documentation of the work done as an accompanist

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

A performance that meets the minimum criteria, but no more. The candidate demonstrates a very limited degree of judgement and independent thinking.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

A good performance in most areas. The candidate demonstrates a reasonable degree of judgement and independent thinking in the most important areas.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

An excellent performance, clearly outstanding. The candidate demonstrates excellent judgement and a high degree of independent thinking.
