The student
• deepens his/her understanding of chidren's development, and of the possibilities and prerequisites of the musical activities, learning, and expression at different ages, and in different phases in the course of life
• perceives the possibilities of the artistic expression and learning as a means of supporting the growth and development of a child, as well as the impact the aforementioned has on the teaching and its methods

A good performance in most areas. The candidate demonstrates a reasonable degree of judgement and independent thinking in the most important areas.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

An excellent performance, clearly outstanding. The candidate demonstrates excellent judgement and a high degree of independent thinking.
