Objective
- is able to explain the effects of aging on oral hygiene
- is able to act in accordance with the professional ethics principles in the field and to provide oral hygiene for the elderly in a multiprofessional way
- develops daily oral hygiene for the elderly with their relatives and nursing staff
- identifies the elderly that need the most support (those with memory or mental health problems or injuries, or who are in end-of-life care)
- is able to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team providing general health and oral health services.
