The student
• understands the importance of inclusion, agency and community for individuals’ well-being
• understands the dimensions of exclusion, disadvantage and inequality as individual, community and societal phenomena
• is able to distinguish between societal structures and processes that marginalise and create inequality
• understands the role of social security in individuals’ lives
• recognises various means and actors involved in the prevention of exclusion among individuals of different ages.
