Objective

The student masters the basic concepts and systems of refrigeration technology, automatic fire suppression systems, and gas pipelines. The student can calculate cooling capacity requirements and interpret refrigeration system diagrams. The student can size refrigerant pipes and the main components of a refrigeration system.

Content

Cooling capacity of cold storages. Main components and piping accessories of a refrigeration system. Refrigerants. Sizing principles for main components and piping. Automatic fire suppression systems. Gas pipelines.
