Objective
After completing the course, the student
• masters strategies for sustainable design and utilises them in industrial fashion design
• understands the importance of value creation for the user
• understands the principles of circular economy and the significance of lifecycle thinking as starting points for fashion design
• designs, instructs, and oversees the production of a commercially and economically viable collection in the context of men's fashion
• understands the impact of outsourcing production on the collection.

• Professional presentation of the collection and justification of design solutions
• Management of the collection structure and creation of synergy
• Cost efficiency and sales management
• English terminology related to the subject area

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
Students know the basics of sustainable design but can apply them to industrial fashion design only to a limited extent. They can utilise design strategies in a restricted manner. They understand the importance of value creation for the user superficially. Students manage the structure of the collection poorly, and there are deficiencies in the logical coherence of the overall collection. There are deficiencies in the visual and technical design and presentation of the products, making it difficult to grasp the whole or achieve accuracy.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
Students can utilise strategies for sustainable design in industrial fashion design. They can make design decisions that largely support the principles of sustainable development. They understand the importance of value creation for the user and can utilise this understanding in design. Students manage the structure of the collection and can create clear and coherent overall concepts. The products are visually and technically clearly designed and presented.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
Students master strategies for sustainable design excellently and can apply them consistently in industrial fashion design. They can make design decisions that are innovative and practical. They understand the importance of value creation and can create design solutions that provide significant value to the user. Students manage the structure of the collection excellently and can create balanced overall concepts that generate synergy. The products are visually balanced and technically accurately designed and presented.

Pass: Students know the basics of sustainable design but can apply them to industrial fashion design only to a limited extent. They can utilise design strategies in a restricted manner. They understand the importance of value creation for the user superficially.
