Objective

After completing the course, the students are able to:
• perceive international trading systems.
• understand the international networking activities of the clothing business and the need for different agreements.
• understand the factors affecting contract practices in the field.
• understand the major agreements and labor laws in the clothing sector.
• understand and is able to apply international agreements and legislation that support corporate responsibility.
• identify the contractual needs and is able to interpret national, international and EU agreements.

Content

Getting acquainted with the international networks and activities in the clothing industry. Familiarizing with the main contracts and labor laws in the clothing industry. Familiarization with the international trading system and international trade agreements. Obtaining new knowledge on the laws and challenges affecting the industry and its evolution regarding sustainability, manufacturing methods and factories in the EU and on the global scale.
