Objective

The student
• deepens their knowledge and skills in studio work
• can organise a studio session and take care of its practical arrangements, acting as the artistic director of a recording
• is able to produce high quality material for the marketing of their skills or for further work for artistic publication.

• Lectures and learning diary
• Recording sessions in a studio or similar environment

Qualifications

Successful completion of Instrument Studies 1-7 or equivalent knowledge and skills. Successful completion of the Concert Studies course or equivalent knowledge and skills.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

In order to obtain a pass mark, the student
• has organised a professional studio session in which at least two pieces of the student's choice have been recorded and mixed
• has acted as the artistic producer of the above-stated session and has been responsible for the practical organisation of the session.
