Music Project 1Laajuus (4 cr)

Objective

On completion of the course, the student:
• is able to work on different musical projects
• is able to take responsibility independently and as a member of a group
• has gained experience in working in music projects.

Content

The content is defined according to the project chosen. A music project can be part of a musician's or pedagogue's work placement. It may include public performances, preparation for public performances independently or as part of a group. It may include, for example, composing, arranging, recording and producing music, or working as a music teacher or musician. During the course, students will develop their knowledge and skills in different areas of work.

Qualifications

The student will have sufficient skills to work in a music project.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Assessment criteria for “pass” are defined according to the project chosen and the learning objectives of the course. In the case of a work-based course, the assessment will be based on a reflective diary completed by the student, indicating the content, quality and quantity of work.
