Objective

The student
• can use the relevant systems of Metropolia UAS during their studies
• knows the basics of the main music notation programs
• can use common office applications needed in the workplace
• can use cloud computing services independently and in groups
• can handle information appropriately, identifies the most common security threats and is prepared to meet the requirements of the workplace in terms of information security skills

Students will be able to identify their own strengths, build a portfolio of competences and be able to continue to use them after the course. Students understand the principles of large language models of artificial intelligence, and know their advantages and disadvantages. They will be able to use AI in a responsible and ethical way in learning, take responsibility for the content of their own work and follow good scientific practice.

• Metropolia University of Applied Sciences' learning environment
• Basics of the main music notation programs
• Key office applications (word processing, spreadsheet, presentation graphics)
• Importance of ePortfolio, how to set it up and how to start building content
• Individual and group work in cloud services
• Basic knowledge and skills on information security and data protection
• Basic knowledge of the use of AI in learning

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The student
• is able to use Metropolia's systems and services in their goal-oriented studies
• is able to use the most common office applications in their studies and written work
• is able to use a music notation program in their studies
• has started to work on a portfolio.
