Objective

The student
• is able to define the importance of mixing in the music production process
• can create technically balanced mixes for different music styles and purposes and work efficiently in a digital audio workstation environment
• knows how to use signal processors in mixing and editing
• understands the significance of control room acoustics and can work in various acoustic environments
• can prepare their own music production for the mixing phase
• can give and receive constructive feedback and use terminology related to the mixing phase
• works in a goal-oriented manner according to given assignments and schedules.
