Objective

The student
• learns to express their thoughts through various presentation techniques, including developing skills in sketching and drawing, perception, imagination and composition
• learns the basics of perspective theory
• becomes familiar with the materials, media and tools used in drawing.

Content

• Sketching and presentation techniques
• Using different materials and tools
• Line drawing and perceiving shapes
• Perpendicular and axonometric projections, perspective pictures of two or more vanishing points
• Digital image processing

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student
• can present design ideas with fast sketches
• knows how to produce high quality visualisations and presentations
• is familiar with the basics and rules of technical drawing
• knows the basics of digital image editing
• knows the common graphic software programs.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student
• can present design ideas with fast sketches well
• knows how to successfully produce high quality visualisations and presentations
• has a good understanding with the basics and rules of technical drawing
• masters the basics of digital image editing
• masters the common graphic software programs.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student
• can present design ideas with fast sketches in an excellent manner
• knows how to produce high quality visualisations and presentations
• has an excellent understanding with the basics and rules of technical drawing
• masters the basics of digital image editing
