The student
• is familiar with the main theories of audiovisual narrative and expression
• is be able to use key concepts of film
• is able to create visual scripts based on a script
• understands the laws of editing and continuity.

• Montage, editing
• Continuity and protective line
• Scene construction
• Stages of film production
• Use of sound in cinematography

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student is able to produce works that follow the laws of film-making.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Students apply the laws of film-making to their works. They master the basic laws of frame sizes, editing and continuity.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Students independently apply the laws of film-making in their works. They have a good command of the fundamental laws of framing, editing and continuity and use them to strengthen storytelling.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The student is able to produce works that follow the laws of film-making.
