Objective

The student
• recognises the importance of new technologies in design and product development
• is familiar with the new technologies affecting the field and knows how to choose relevant tools and methods for their work
• learns about new technologies that the designer must master in order to be able to work continuously and successfully in the field
• knows how to utilise and apply new technologies in their design work
• becomes familiar with the operating environment of design, the development of technology and new technological trends and practices affecting the field.
