Objective

The student
• knows the basics and terminology of virtual production
• has basic knowledge of the possibilities and limitations of different ways of using virtual production compared to more traditional video production methods
• knows the industry standards related to virtual productions and how to use the tools and techniques needed to implement them, which can be used to create real-time virtual sets and produce video content for different purposes.

• Real-time rendering
• Utilisation of game engines in virtual productions
• Possibilities and limitations of virtual production compared to other ways of producing moving images
