Objective

The student knows the workflow of film production. The student will be able to define the desired shooting settings for the video camera. The student can plan the shooting, shoot with the camera and record sound. Understand the basics of film lighting. The student will know the main working environments and job descriptions in typical film productions.

- camera characteristics
- technical characteristics of digital video
- sound and recording basics
- sound synchronization and dubbing

Prerequisites

Fundamentals of Cinematic Storytelling, Photography or equivalent knowledge

Students can produce video and audio material in the desired format. The student understands the main principles of video production workflow. The student will participate in a filming project as appropriate to his/her role.

Students apply their audiovisual skills to produce video and audio material in the desired format. The student will be an active member of a team in a filming project and will take care of his/her own defined responsibilities.

Students apply their audiovisual skills to produce high-quality video and audio material in the desired format. The student will work well as a member of a team on a filming project and will fulfill his/her assigned responsibilities in a timely manner.
