Objective

Students are able to create complex and fully functional 3D characters for different purposes. They know various methods to create technically demanding animated characters.

• Producing 3D characters for various purposes
• Creating complex animation rigs
• Introduction to different character creation techniques

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student knows the terminology of making versatile character rigs and knows at a basic level the rigging methods of versatile characters with a 3D program.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student knows the terminology of making versatile characters and knows the rigging methods of versatile characters with a 3D program. The student is able to apply methods in assignments.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student is familiar with the terminology of making versatile character rigs and masters the rigging methods of versatile characters with a 3D program. The student is able to apply and research new methods independently in assignments.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The student knows the terminology of making versatile character rigs and knows at a basic level the rigging methods of versatile characters with a 3D program.
