Objective

Students master the most common tools used in digital illustration. Students are capable of goal-oriented image production in a digital environment. Students are able to deepen their skills in colour and spatial composition and able to apply their skills in digital image production.

- Production of publication-ready images in a digital environment
- Role of colour and composition in illustration
- Image file formats; separate and joint use of software

Prerequisites

Basics of Photoshop and Basics of Photography

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Student attends classes. Student masters the core content of the course and knows how to use the relevant tools. Student completes assignments to a satisfactory standard.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

In addition to meeting the requirements at the previous level, student actively participates in class and completes assignments to a good standard and on schedule.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

In addition to meeting the requirements at the previous levels, student is able to apply the learned skills and completes the assignments to an excellent standard.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed
