Objective
Upon completing the course, the student will understand the basic principles of event production planning. They will recognize the role of public events as part of a broader societal ecosystem. The student will be able to design events in a customer-oriented, responsible, and sustainable manner. They will also understand the fundamental principles of project management in event production.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
The student understands the role of public events within the societal ecosystem. They recognize the key characteristics of the event cluster and different event formats. The student identifies some social, cultural, environmental, and economic sustainability factors and impacts related to events. They are familiar with the basic principles of event production planning and have a general understanding of event-related legislation and copyright fundamentals.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
The student can apply knowledge of the significance of public events within the societal ecosystem and justify their role in relation to different stakeholders. They can analyze the social, cultural, environmental, and economic impacts of events and identify key impact factors in event planning. The student understands the basic principles of event production planning and recognizes key legislation, copyright regulations, and risk management in event production.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
The student can analyze in depth the role of public events within the societal ecosystem and assess their impacts on various stakeholders and societal functions. They are able to critically evaluate the responsibility and sustainability of event production. The student understands the basic principles of event production planning and can proactively solve production challenges, such as issues related to legislation, copyright, and risk management.
