- understands the importance of multiculturalism in the oral hygiene of children
- is able to explain the specific characteristic and development phases of the teeth, identifies occlusion and any malocclusions
- is able to perform orthodontic procedures in a simulated environment
- is able to explain the reciprocal connection between oral health and general health
- knows the importance of and need for antibiotic prophylaxis in oral hygiene
- knows how to give first aid in dental accidents
