Objective
Students use essential machinery and equipment correctly to fabricate prostheses and orthoses. They use them safely and are aware of their operating principles. Students choose the appropriate method and tool for the work process. Students describe the materials, their characteristics and performance in different phases of the manufacturing process. They combine various materials and consider safety issues concerning work and the environment.
Students know how to use materials in a versatile way. Students have first aid skills, and they work in accordance with the rules and regulations on work safety.
