Objective

The radiography student
knows how to set modality-specific learning objectives for training, suited to their personal skill level
is able to describe, self-assess and develop their skills and professional growth
knows how to interact with and guide patients in different interaction situations on the patients’ terms
can apply their professional knowledge in a pre-emptive way and is able to take decisions independently in various situations
knows how to work safely and in accordance with the radiographer’s code of conduct in a work placement
is able to prepare patients for an imaging examination or procedure
knows how to conduct imaging examinations safely, and apply their expertise in them
is able to take patient safety into account and analyse their own actions
is able to justify and describe any decisions they make
works in a goal-driven way to enhance their learning in the work placement
can describe the various dimensions of multidisciplinary collaboration in the patient’s treatment process
is able to analyse the meaning of multidisciplinary collaboration in the radiographer’s work in various environments and to describe the competence needed in the radiographer’s work for multidisciplinary collaboration
