Objective

The student
• understands the importance of product lifecycle and product data management in the company's operations
• understands the function of product data management with its different options and identifies the features and functions of the systems
• knows the techniques of product data management and can apply them to product items, management, roles, product structure definition and structuring
• knows how a product lifecycle management system works and how to identify system features.
