Objective

The student
• is familiar with the basic concepts and principles of quality technology and statistical quality control
• is familiar with the basics of probability and statistical analysis, and the most important applications in quality technology
• is familiar with measuring equipment, machines and methods
• understands the concept of measurement uncertainty, and the importance of the calibration of measuring equipment
• understands the importance of condition monitoring measurements for quality production.

The student
• is familiar with the concept of quality and statistical quality control, as well as the associated mathematics
• knows the basics of quality management system standards and quality tools
• is familiar with the use of measuring instruments and various measuring machines.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student
• is familiar with the concept of quality and the most common quality tools
• is familiar with the basic content of quality management system standards
• is able to use statistical quality control and mathematics related to it in simple practical situations
• is able to use various measuring instruments and various measuring machines
• is familiar with the concept of measurement uncertainty, as well as the importance of the measurement calibration.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student
• is familiar with the concept of quality and the most common quality tools
• is familiar with the basic contents of the quality management system standards
• can use statistical quality control and apply mathematics related to it in practical situations
• is able to use measuring instruments
• is familiar with various measuring machines, as well as the concept of measurement uncertainty, and the importance of calibration measurements.
