Studies in the Mechanical Engineering degree program aim to provide students with the skills for the machinery and metal technology-based activities associated with machine design, manufacturing and production technology or automation.
The studies emphasize the practical, user-centered approach, learning by doing, problem-solving skills, collaboration skills, professional studies in depth, as well as managing internationalization. In addition, elective study modules support multi-tasking and ensure that the graduates have solid expertise in their field of studies and are able to apply this expertise in practice.

A graduate in Mechanical Engineering has strong scientific and technical skills.
Mechanical engineers are well versed in green transition topics and have the skills to build the sustainable economy and growth of the future in an environmentally fossil-free and resource-efficient way.

Students specializing in Machine Automation: - are able to design systems including mechanical construction and control technology - are able to choose the proper control system - can understand the demands for designing automatic equipment - are able to utilize machines with automation technology and are also able to maintain the machines and devices - are able to apply automation technology in new applications - are able to sell and project complicated automation systems
