Descriptions

The Master’s Degree in Intelligent Industrial Solutions (M.Eng) is tailored to engineering professionals working in the industry. The studies deepen your previous engineering know-how and prepare you to work more efficiently in a modern intelligent industrial environment. The learning outcomes of the programme have been defined together with representatives of the local industry and it provides solutions to the increasing needs and challenges of the constantly developing fields of engineering.

The studies consist of 6 course packages related to modern industrial solutions (5 ECTS each) as well as an individual project work of 30 ECTS credits. The project work is directly linked to the process improvement challenges of the student’s employer and thus linked directly to the daily work of the student. The student will work on the project throughout his/her studies (1½ years approximately). Thus it is preferable that the student is able to define a process to be improved in his/her working environment already in the beginning of the studies.

The duration of the studies is 1,5 years as part time studies. The contact hours will be organized as evening studies mainly twice a week from 5 pm to 8.15 pm.
