Implementation of Research-based DevelopmentLaajuus (5 cr)

Objective

Students are familiar with the general methodological principles and methodological options of research-based development. Students will be familiar with the methods relevant to research and development and will be able to apply them in their own work. Students will understand the importance of ethical issues in research and development and will apply research ethics in their own work.

- Quantitative research, qualitative research, action research, evaluation research
- Design and implementation of a thesis plan
- Research ethics
- Ideation, preparation and implementation of research-based development work in demanding contexts and evaluation of its impact in collaboration with clients and other partners
