Objective

The student is able to integrate the knowledge base of managerial psychology into the the activities and interactions of organizations and work communities.
The student is familiar with internal and external communications that are essential in organization management as well as the different types of managerial communication. The student can see him/herself in a role that involves planning, implementing and developing strategic and daily communications. He/she acquires models and methods of enhancing communication and interaction. The student can use the social media and other tools and channels of digital communication. He/she can also communicate in multidisciplinary and international networks.

- Fundamentals of managerial psychology
- Planning and implementation of organizational strategic communications
- Managerial communication models
- Types and examples of managerial communication: daily communication, leadership communication, change management communication, crisis communication, influence communications
- Digital tools and communication in the social media
- Communication in the Internet and networks

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student demonstrates competence in the basic content of the course, but there are deficiencies in his/her ability to find and interpret information and to apply the learned content to the context of working life.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student demonstrates good competence in the content of the course. He/she is able to actively search for information and to identify its connection to working life. The student is able to analyse and apply the learned content to the context of working life.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student demonstrates versatile and extensive competence in the content of the
course. He/she has an excellent ability to search for relevant information. The student’s solutions demonstrate independence, responsibility, and skills in guiding others. His/her ability to apply the learned content to the context of working life exhibits creativity and versatility

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The student demonstrates competence in the basic content of the course, but there are deficiencies in his/her ability to find and interpret information and to apply the learned content to the context of working life

Recognition of Prior Learning
The student can apply for recognition of prior learning if he/she has completed corresponding university-level studies and/or has been responsible for communications in an organization
