Descriptions
Cyber security specialization studies are provided for graduate professionals who are already active in working life. It is an education aimed for professional development and training to encourage specialization. The studies are particularly targeted for technicians, engineers or engineering Bachelor graduates.
The aim is to deepen the participant's knowledge and to offer skills which are relevant in the modern world of work contributing to the ability to respond quickly to the changing demands of working life.
Development
The study plan has been developed in cooperation with ICT-industry and Kymenlaakso University of Applied Sciences. Advisory board of the schoold of ICT has approved the specialization studies on March 13, 2015.

Cybersecurity specialization studies develop expertise and special skills needed in work life for engineering secure data centers, networks and systems, carrying out penetrations testing and detecting intrusions.
