The Leadership in Audiovisual Productions Diplomais a 1,5-year specialization training aimed at professionals working in the audiovisual and media industry, executive producers, producers, line producers, production managers, as well as persons working in supervisory positions or similar positions in the AV and game industry. The training implements the general goals of the specialization training defined in Government Regulation 2014/1129. The development of specialization training in the AV industry responds to the general production skills gap in the field as a specific training.

Development

The curriculum has been developed in collaboration by the audiovisual industry, Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, Turku University of Applied Sciences and Tampere University of Applied Sciences in cooperation with Oulu University of Applied Sciences, Karelia University of Applied Sciences and Arcada University of Applied Sciences funded by the Ministry of Education and Culture.

Objective

After training, a student
- is able to work in demanding expert tasks in audiovisual production
- achieve the in-depth specialized knowledge or management of a multidisciplinary entity required for expertise
- knows how to evaluate and develop professional practices in their special field based on research or methods of artistic activity
- is able to function in communities and networks as an expert in his own special field
