Objective
After completing the course, the student is able to
• assess, monitor and support the vital signs of an emergency patient in the different parts of the patients treatment path
• demonstrate advanced communication and interpersonal skills in the emergency care environment
• recognize the needs and special issues regarding the emergency care of patients of dif-ferent age groups and backgrounds
