Osaamistavoitteet

Upon completion of the course the student will know and be prepared for the various stages of the job application process. Students learn how to effectively prepare job applications in English and are familiar with the types of job application placement employers usually prefer. The course builds on the SCC track of the EBA/IBMS double degree.

By the end of the course the students will be able to
* effectively present their skills and competencies, experiences, abilities, knowledge etc in a CV and letter of application in English.
* perform effectively and convincingly in a job interview in English.
* use various resources to find work placement opportunities.

Students will also have learned practical tips and useful information from the international placement experiences of the 4th year EBA students in a placement workshop.

Sisältö

The course prepares the student for the job application process from completing a skills analysis to writing an effective CV and cover letter to being interviewed in English. This prepares and motivates the student for finding challenging placement positions and assists them in their job hunt after graduation.

Skills and competencies analysis, job search procedures, placement and recruitment procedures. Some small content changes due to IBMS SCC curricula may occur but will be notified.
