Objective

The student
• knows how to plan and implement moving graphics
• masters the basics of timeline visual communication
• manages the joint use of drawing, image processing and editing programs
• understands the key themes of sustainable development related to the design of motion graphics.

Content

• Online advertising
• Animation and its legalities
• Using sound in animation

Location and time

Teaching and assignment feedback are provided in person.
Practice exercises can be completed in any location, provided that the required tools and software are available.

Participation in the course does not require students to acquire any additional materials or literature.

Content scheduling

The beginning of the course is lecture-oriented.
Toward the end of the course, the focus shifts to independent work on personal practice exercises.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student
• can produce motion graphics
• knows how to produce visual elements in different programs and animate them in programs suitable for the purpose
• knows how to save the animation in a format suitable for the publishing channel.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student
• knows how to produce high-quality implementations of motion graphics
• applies what they have learned independently and uses different programs meaningfully in their production chain
• knows how to take into account the special features of the publication channel when recording animation.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student
• can independently produce high-quality motion graphics implementations
• plans their projects and production chain meaningfully in terms of the end result and the distribution channel
• applies what they have learned and knows how to find solutions to their problems.
