Planning of the Thesis Work (5 ECTS)

Objective

The student will be able to
• identify questions and needs for development in their professional field and working life and plan solutions to them in accordance with the principles of sustainable development
• use reliable information from various sources to base and frame their work
• apply their professional knowledge and appropriate methods and working methods in their development work.

Content

• Familiarisation with the thesis process
• Contractual and permitting practices
• Familiarisation with the environment and planning of cooperation with working life
• Identifying the need for development
• Source-critical information gathering in Finnish and English
• Choice of working methods and methodologies
• Specifying the topic
• Drawing up and presenting a development plan

Huomioithan, että oppimistehtävissä tulee hyödyntää opintojakson tavoitteisiin soveltuvia ja/tai määriteltyjä lähteitä ja tekoäly voi toimia tukena omalle ajattelulle. Opinnäytetyön tekstiä ei voi muodostaa tekoälyllä. Mikäli hyödynnät tekoälyä oppimistehtävissä, tulee se kirjata selkeästi esille.

Mikäli opiskelijalla on erityisen tuen päätös, joka vaikuttaa opintojakson suorittamiseen, tulee opiskelijan olla opintojakson vastuuopettajaan yhteydessä heti opintojakson ilmoittautumisajan päätyttyä.
