Objective
Students know the principles of setting up a media business. Students can assess the viability of their business idea. Students are familiar with client acquisition methods in the media industry. They know the basics of financial management and the taxation practices in a media business. Students know the principles of accounting. Students can take care of the external communication and marketing of their business in correct Finnish.

Students have acceptable participation in class and complete the assignments to a satisfactory standard. They know the principles of starting a business in the field of media. They can formulate a simple business idea and business plan. They are acquainted with principles of financial management and key taxation practices. The students know principles of bookkeeping.

Students actively participate in class and complete the assignments to a good standard. They know the principles of starting a business in the field of media. They can formulate a business idea and business plan, and are able to communicate about and market their business. They are familiar with the customer acquisition practices in the field of media, as well as with principles of financial management and key taxation practices. The students manage the fundamentals of bookkeeping. They are able to use their learned skills in their professional practice.

Students actively participate in class and complete the assignments to an excellent standard. They have an excellent knowledge of the principles of starting a business in the field of media.
