Objective

Students are able to act as a representative of osteopathy and are able to evaluate their own work, skills and professional development independently. If necessary, students are able to change the treatment plan and make treatment decisions in unpredictable situations. Students work at the interfaces of different fields as an expert in osteopathy in both professional and multi-professional networks. Students use a wide range of highly specialized expertise, make independent choices, and examine the clinical cases multidisciplinary from different perspectives and are able to discuss them with the client. Students are able to search information that relate to clinical cases and evaluate the usability of the information critically. Students are capable of creative problem solving and developing working methods.

Content

External clinical practice: Department of physics, reception of an osteopath, and optional partner. Performing and communicating as an expert, multi-professional cooperation, and
networking. Osteopathic reception for clients.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Students use professional concepts in a controlled manner and justify their choices based to the clients’ needs using a comprehensive knowledge base. Students evaluate their own prerequisites and consequences of their activities systematically.
Students operate in a variety of operating environments independently and professionally according to the objectives and apply working methods appropriately and safely.
Students work in different situations according to the principles of professional ethics and act with commitment promoting the work of the group.

Students use professional concepts in a controlled manner and make choices together with the personusing a comprehensive knowledge base. Students evaluate and develop their own activities systematically. Students act in a variety of operating environments independently and professionally according to the objectives and apply working methods flexibly and safely.
Students work ethically, considering the special features of the situations, and work with commitment to promote professional work methods.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Students use professional concepts expertly and make choices together with the personusing comprehensive knowledge base in changing operating environments. Students evaluate their own activities critically and produce information to develop the operating environment.
Students act in variety of operating environments independently and professionally and develop working and operating environment together with others.
