Objective
On completion of the course, the student is familiar with the requirements and key features of factual texts. The student is able to write texts based on other texts in their field of study. The student is able to follow the main conventions of written language in their writing. The student is able to use model texts, various grammar resources and technical glossaries in their writing. The student understands the types of textual skills required in higher education studies, and they are able to evaluate their own strengths and areas of improvements in writing factual texts.
