Further information for students
The course is intended for both students who have prior degree of apractical nurse and students in emergency care, midwifery, nursing or public health nursing programmes, who work in the social and health sector in client / patient contact during their studies.
All relevant work experience in health care sector is accepted, eg the duties of a practical nurse (lähihoitaja), also work performed incompetently, eg caregiver, or eg a rescuer, with regard to suitable duties.Work experience only in the social and health care sector is included, in case the work also consists of other types of tasks (for example in a fire & rescue, emergency medical and emergency response services).
The course consists of an independent learning task and previous work experience in the social and health care field. The task is required in each case, regardless of whether an application is based on work experience or a practical nurse degree.
There is continuous registration for the study. Registrations will be accepted within few days after registration.
