Objective

The student
• is able to define the special requirements for public space planning
• is able to apply the principle ‘design for all’ in public space planning
• can design a concept plan that guides design solutions through the design process
• is able to design appropriate, functional and comfortable premises that accomplish the user experience objectives and to solve design problems creatively
• can prepare documents related to the interior design, furniture and lighting design of the design and implementation phase
• is able to work on a project and communicate professionally and present their plans in a way that serves different purposes.

The student
• has partially achieved the objectives of the course

• has successfully completed the tasks.

The student
• has achieved the objectives of the course well
• understands the whole related to public space design with its components and knows the importance of the components as part of the quality of the final design work
• is able to use and apply different aspects of public space planning in their work
• has successfully completed the course assignments and has been able to apply what they have learnt in carrying them out.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student
• has excellently achieved the objectives of the course
• extensively masters the entity related to public space design with its associated components and understands their significance as part of the quality of the final design work
• is able to skillfully use and apply different aspects of public space planning in their work in an appropriate way
