Objective
The aim of this course is to improve the Swedish language skills and Swedish cultural competence of the participants in Finland and Sweden. The focus is on social and health care services.

Writing a motivation letter: The participants to the study trip will be elected based on a personally written motivation letter
Location and time
Aloitus on 20.9.2021, ja muu opetus pidetään 2. periodilla maanantaisin klo 12.30-15 syksyllä 2021. Tukholman opintomatka on joulukuussa 2021, mikäli koronaviruksen aiheuttama tilanne sen sallii. Muutokset ja opintomatkan muuttaminen webinaariksi on mahdollista. Opintojakson voi suorittaa myös osallistumatta opintomatkalle. Tällöin opiskelijalle räätälöidään korvaavat tehtävät. Opintomatkan toteutumiseen vaikuttavat myös senhetkiset Suomen ja Ruotsin koronavirustilanne ja -rajoitukset.
Opetuspaikat ovat Metropolian Myllypuron kampuksella. Opintojakson tarkka ohjelma ja aikataulu julkaistaan ilmoittautuneille ennen opetuksen alkua. Opetuksessa hyödynnetään Hanasaaren ruotsalais-suomalaisen kulttuurikeskuksen ja Suomen Tukholman-instituutin tarjontaa, minkä vuoksi tapaamisia voi olla muinakin aikoina kuin maanantai-iltapäivisin. Metropolian tiloissa järjestettävä opetus on kuitenkin maanantaisin.

The course has been planned and will be carried out in cooperation with Hanaholmen Culture Centre (Espoo) and Suomen Tukholman-instituutti (Stockholm).
Completion alternatives
It is possible to do the course without the study trip to Stockholm, Sweden. In that case, please, contact the teacher.
