Objective

The student
• understands the different stages of a high-quality blood transfusion chain, from donor to patient
• knows the roles of various stakeholders in the transfusion chain and the importance of seamless
cooperation
• deepens their knowledge of blood products and related research
• understands the significance of safe blood transfusion and is able to act in cases of adverse reactions
• develop the blood transfusion process in their own work unit

The course is graded as pass/fail.

The course is considered completed when all assignments and tests have been completed according to the instructions, and the exam has been successfully passed within the given timeframe.
